People often wonder, how I can be working with clients and students who aren’t physically present. How can I be instructing and guiding people who are miles, states and even countries away? Enter, modern technology :) It’s simply amazing how technology can keep us connected and provide an avenue for learning, teaching and individual attention. I work with distance students in a variety of ways…finding the means of communicating that is most comfortable for the client. Some of those tools include Skype, FaceTime, email, chat rooms, Facebook, etc. One of the teaching platforms I am privileged to be a part of is the Daisy Peel Online Classroom. I teach multiple group classes in a well organized and user friendly online classroom. I’m able to communicate with students on a daily basis, give them detailed feedback about their exercise programs and provide video demonstrations of the work we are doing. HERE is an interview I recently did with Daisy so students could get to know me a little better as well as how the classroom works.
